DESCRIPTION:Please join us on March 15\, 2023\, at the SUNY Canton ROOS House for our annual Gateways to Careers. As we strive to help prepare the youth of the North Country to become college and career ready\, your participation would be greatly appreciated.\n\nEach year more than 1\,100 high school juniors and seniors participate in Gateways. Will you be the employer who will make a difference in their preparedness after high school? We hope you will answer yes to this question and join us at this event! We encourage you to bring several representatives from your organization to assist during the morning\, as this will make the process more efficient and beneficial to both you and the student.\n\nAre you able to?\n\n	 Volunteer a few hours to perform mock interviews to help prepare students for their future?\n	Provide an honest evaluation of the student's total presentation - application\, resume\, dress\, verbal skills\, attitude\, and workplace readiness?\n	Share your knowledge of the technical\, communication\, and team skills necessary to be successful in career\, college and life with 17 and 18 year old students?\n\nAs our way of saying "Thank you for all you do for our students!" please join us for a luncheon immediately following the morning workshops. For your convenience\, the luncheon will be held in the lobby of the SUNY Canton ROOS House.\n\nThank you for your continued commitment to our students and our community.
