DESCRIPTION:The Fort La Presentation Association is proud to host a Star Party at the Fort Property. The host for the Star Party will be Tim Able. Tim has been an amateur astronomer for several years and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the night sky with others.\n\n\n\nTim is also a local archaeologist who earned his doctorate at the University of Albany SUNY. His academic interest lies in the early Euro-American Military Archaeology of Northern New York. He has led archaeological digs on the Fort Property in the past.\n\n\n\nThe Fort Association hosted a Star Party\, with Tim\, in 2019. At that time\, we were able to observe some of the moons of Jupiter as well as the Rings of Saturn.\n\n\n\nJoin us\, weather permitting\, at dusk to watch the stars come out.
