Featured and on sale this month are two flavors of Vegetarian Artisan Sausages: Spinach Pesto and Andouille. These grillable vegetarian alternatives are low in saturated fat\, vegan\, non-GMO\, and an excellent source of protein and fiber. Spinach Pesto combines sweet basil\, spinach\, and vegan parmesan flavors. Mingled with garlic and crushed fennel\, these sausages are perfect for pasta dishes\, scrambles\, and casseroles. Andouille is a Louisiana- style sausage. Made with roasted poblano peppers for a spicy flavor\, they also contain wheat berries for a satisfying texture. Also available on the tasting table you will find a new store item: certified Organic Chicken Tenders. Farmer owned\, free range\, and certified humanely raised & handled\, these chickens are fed an all vegetable diet with no animal byproducts\, or antibiotics. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm St. and is open daily from 8am to 7pm.
