DESCRIPTION:Selections from TAUNY's 2014 exhibition "Every Single Day: Life on North Country Dairy Farms" will be on display in the upstairs gallery February 13 - March 27.The original documentation for this exhibition was funded by an Archie Green Fellowship\, awarded by the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. We are gladly revisiting these exhibit materials now to celebrate the news that this occupational folklife project collection is now fully available online in the American Folklife Center's Archie Green Community Documentation Collection\, housed in the Library of Congress. Click here for more information about this project.\n \n\nFor the 2014 exhibition\, research and documentation for the exhibit were carried out by TAUNY staff. Program director Hannah Harvester and fellow folklorists Jill Breit (TAUNY executive director) and Varick Chittenden (special projects director) interviewed 40 farmers\, family members\, employees\, and others in St. Lawrence\, Lewis\, Franklin\, and Jefferson counties. Farms ranged in size from herds of 35 to 1\,200 milking cows.
