Participate in our Space Exploration Crafting Station\, highlighting the work of Dr. Sally K. Ride\, the first American woman in space:\n\n\n\nDetails: Imagine what it would be like to go on a space exploration like Dr. Sally Ride! At this crafting station\, participants can fill out a "What If" badge that details their imagined space trip\, create a "Become an Astronaut" photo (draw yourself as an astronaut or glue on a photo at home)\, build a rocket ship (pre-colored or color your own)\, and color space-themed coloring sheets. This program is designed for all ages\, with adult assistance needed for younger participants. We recommend planning approximately 20 minutes for the activity. Take-home packets of all the materials are available for those who cannot stay for the program.\n\n\n\n2. Participate in the "25 Objects for America's 250th" Scavenger Hunt:\n\n\n\nDetails: Explore different types of artifacts important to domestic\, commercial\, and military life from the late 18th to early 20th centuries in St. Lawrence County. Objects are located throughout the museum across two floors. Stairs and elevator access to the second floor are available. This program is designed for ages 6+ with adult assistance for younger participants. We recommend planning approximately 30 minutes for the activity. Find all 25 objects on the scavenger hunt list to win a prize!
