DESCRIPTION:Join us for Board Member Boot Camp with Kayla Record and Carol Young\, SEEDs of Hope from November 16-20 for one hour each day from 11:30AM-12:30PM! Take your lunch break for one week to learn more and advance your Board Member Skills!\n\n \n\nEffective boards are created and maintained through purposeful board development. In this workshop\, SEEDs of Hope will provide highly interactive training for board members to highlight best practices in linking strategies\, governance\, and funding to support nonprofits in the long term. Nonprofit boards of directors are more critical than ever to the survival and success of their agencies. The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economy have created the highest level of human-service needs seen in generations. Meanwhile\, the nonprofit organizations are finding it more and more challenging to generate the revenue needed to meet the community's needs. A high functioning board of directors means the difference between succeeding and failing. With limited resources\, boards are a repository of  intellect\, objective perspectives and value added.
