DESCRIPTION:Instructed by Kevin Marcinko for ages 10-Adult\, this two hour workshop is for absolute beginners to the ukulele. Students start by learning how to hold and strim their Ukes and then move on to some basic chords\, mixing in some basic music theory to make learning songs fun and easy. Everything will be learned by ear\, so students don't need to know how to read music. Participants will leave with a good foundation to start learning and practicing songs on their own. Bring your own ukulele. Several ukeleles are avaliable for loan\; please note during registration if you need to borrow a uke.
