DESCRIPTION:Sandbar Classic Fishing Derby\n\nThe 2024 Sandbar Classic will be Sunday July 21 at Hosmer's Marina. The annual tournament coincides with the start of Seaway Festival. Adult anglers can register for $20 and can fish for the following species   bass\, walleye\, northern pike and perch.\n\n\n\nRegistration will begin in the beginning of July. The first 75 anglers will receive a free t-shirt. Each angler can only submit one fish from each of the categories.\n\n\n\nEach fish entered will be weighed and its length recorded. Winners will be determined by weight and if a tie\, the length will determine the winner. You may bump your own fish and fish must be alive when weighed in.\n\n\n\nThere will be a youth division for bass\, northern pike\, walleye and perch. Registration for youth\, 16 and under\, is only $10. Youth can also choose to register for the adult division if they choose.\n\n\n\nFishing is on the St. Lawrence River only. All weighing of fish will take place at Hosmer's Marina from 8am until 3pm.
