DESCRIPTION:2024 MORRISTOWN CONCERT SERIES\n\nThe Morristown Gateway Museum presents the 2024 Morristown Summer Concert Series. Performances will be held on Main Street in front of the museum generally on Mondays at 6:30pm with three events on Saturday evenings (7/16\, 8/10\, 9/14). Bring a chair for the most comfortable experience to enjoy tunes on Main Street. \n\n\n\nIn cases where inclement weather may arise\, bands and artists are relocated to the Pavilion behind the Morristown Fire Department. Notifications will be made via their social media page HERE. \n\n\n\nSERIES SCHEDULE\n\nMonday\, July 8 | Annie in the Water (Acoustic Set)\n\nAnnie in the Water's Americana Indie Rock found its roots in acoustic guitars without limits. Songwriting and traversing multiple genres offers the listener rock\, funk\, reggae\, hip hop\, soul\, dance-beat and improv with pleasurable melodies overtop ground-shaking rhythm. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, July 13 | Doc Yukon\n\nThe ensemble is a fusion two guitarists\, Andy Wendt and Brian Beyer\, with a rhythm section of Mark Getman on drums and Andrew Willis on bass. This results in a rich\, layered sound that belies their four-member setup. Each member not only masters their instrument but also shares lead vocals and harmonies.  They have been known to perform hits from Queen\, Journey\, Rush\, Lizzo\, Lady Gaga\, Luke Bryan\, Shania Twain\, and Johnny Cash.\n\n\n\nMonday\, July 15 | Sacci Big Band\n\nThe Sacci Big Band updates a style that used to be America's popular music such as the popular bands - Glenn Miller - and also jazz oriented bands such as Basie\, Ellington\, and Herman. Plus originals by the band members\, mostly North Country music teachers.\n\n\n\nMonday\, July 22 | Gwen Tracy\n\nGwen Tracy is an Adirondack native and Old Forge resident\, a genuinely talented singer inspired by Linda Ronstadt - who sometimes channels Janis Joplin.  A powerhouse performer!\n\n\n\nMonday\, July 29 | Another Fine Mess\n\nAnother Fine Mess is about having fun! This rock cover band skillfully delivers all the hard rocking songs you know and love from the 70's-present. With over 100 years of collective\, live playing experience\, the musicians are Brian Hammond on lead vocals\, Tim Logan on guitar/backing vocals\, Randy Van Brocklin or Kevin Sellers on drums and Greg Robb on bass/backing vocals. Members have shared the stage with artists such as Blue Oyster Cult\, Kim Mitchell\, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.\n\n\n\nSaturday\, August 10 | Double Axel\n\nThe Legendary Double Axel\, their 53rd year of making music. What a wild ride with more to come!\n\n\n\nMonday\, August 12 | Chippewa Breeze\n\nA local band from Chippewa Bay\, Chippewa Breeze plays a combination of favorite tunes from pop\, rock and some self-composed music as well.\n\n\n\nMonday\, August 19 | Northbound\n\nThe band has been influenced by great singer-songwriters of the 1950's through today including James Taylor\, Paul Simon\, John Fogerty\, and The Beatles.  The band played many concerts and shows around the North Country over several decades.\n\n\n\nMonday\, August 26 | Non-Comittals\n\nThe folks in the band love the music of the 50s\, 60s\, and 70s. and make the most of it with a zest that's infectious.\n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 14 | 10th Mountain Division Rock Band\n\nThis band brings Army professionalism to music and showmanship. Enjoy the sounds PLUS a light show!
